net.isfaction measures connection speed over WiFi and cellular networks (3G, EDGE or GPRS), based on your location at the time of the testing session.
The test set runs an automatic test procedure covering five different test cases: HTTP-based web browsing, file transfer (FTP) in both download and upload directions, latency test (Ping) and test VoIP.
Test results are available through a quick interface, while a fully featured interface provides numeric data and test charts. The App allows you to see your past speed tests for WiFi and cellular networks thanks to an history log.
Network routing, traffic loads and geographic location may impact test results.
HTTP-based Video Streaming Quality of Experience evaluation has been added on release 1.2.
